DES MOINES — Centerville's Riley Denny has advanced to Saturday night's Class 2-A state finals match at 195 pounds.

Denny bested Ballard's Alex Macki in his only non-pin win so far this tournament. Denny won by 5-4 decision.

Finals matches for each respective state title begin Saturday at 6 p.m. Log on to sports.dailyiowegian.com/statewrestling for a live blog and live photo stream of Denny's and many other matches.

Centerville's Tanner Cowan will wrestle against Albia's Bryce Leshen in the fourth round of consolations Saturday. That session starts at 10 a.m. Cowan is guaranteed to finish at least sixth in the tournament after he beat Assumption's Tony Devriese in the third round of consolations by a 6:32 pin.
